Description

Join Domtar and SCA on Saturday, June 17th to refurbish the historic Johnsonburg Community Center located in Elk County in Northwestern Pennsylvania.

Domtar has joined forces with the Student Conservation Association -- an organization dedicated to developing tomorrow's conservation leaders -- to lead community service projects at Domtar sites across the US. Together, we will restore parks and other natural resources in locations where Domtar employees live and work.

In 1919, the doors to the Johnsonburg Community Center opened thanks to a gift from the New York & Pennsylvania Company paper mill. Nearly 100 years later, the community center still serves as an important recreational space. Domtar employees and their families will join SCA volunteers to preserve this historic community center for future generations to enjoy.
